What Pro is actually for
The free tier is not a demo. It has the timeline, the colors, the timer and the inbox, which is the whole planning loop. A lot of people will never need more than that, and that is a fine outcome.
Pro is for when three projects stops being enough, usually because work has split into several strands, or when one routine will not cover the shape of your week.
A task breakdown engine and an energy tracker are in development and will be included in Pro when they ship. They are not available yet, and you should not buy on the strength of them.
Billing questions
How do I cancel?
Through your Apple subscriptions settings, the same as any App Store subscription. Cadencia has no account system, so there is nothing to cancel on our side and nobody to email.
What happens to my data if I stop paying?
Nothing is deleted, and nothing gets locked. The rule is block new, keep existing: you keep full access to every project and routine you already made, and only creating additional ones is blocked.
Can I get a refund?
Refunds are handled by Apple through their standard request process, not by us. That is the trade off of App Store billing, and it is why the free tier is generous enough to decide before you pay.
Is there a family or student price?
Not at the moment. The lifetime option is there for people who would rather not carry another subscription at all.
